Hey, Y’all! I’m Vallie, a self-taught mixed media artist living in Birmingham, Alabama. I am obsessed with color and whimsy and anything that evokes a feeling of JOY! I sometimes joke and tell people, “I’m not a fine artist, I’m a FUN artist!” My love of art and creation began when I was a child, spending summers with my artist grandmother. And I have been creating in some way or another ever since. When I am not painting away in my studio, you’ll find me either driving my school bus, looking for another travel adventure or hanging out with my kiddos.

I fully believe that God created me to create. And it’s my hope that my art truly brings a feeling of light-heartedness and joy to your world! I’m so glad you’re here to support me in what I believe is my calling.
